This charming little set consists of our arty friend, Emma in a new and exclusive outfit, her cat Chico, scooter, trailer and outdoor drawing station. The scooter is a great piece to have in the rather rare light aqua colour. The trailer, that is pulled by the scooter, is an enjoyable little build made up of lots of curved (macaroni) bricks and tiles.  It looks very pretty in the light aqua, medium lavender and dark purple colour scheme.

The only real drawback of this set is the doors to the sales hatch on the trailer. This use of dark pink is out of place and closing the doors to reveal the anti-stud of the plates just looks terrible.  The handles, albeit cute flowers, are not very functional as they often come off as you pull them to open the doors.

Inside the trailer we find bed and treat for Chico, a stand for Emma’s cool new helmet and ample space to fit her easel and stool when she’s on the move.  Open the trailer’s two front doors for a lovely display of Emma’s artworks (each one a reference to accompanying Friends sets of January 2018), a cash register and some arty knick-knacks to sell.  The trailer can also open from the top and swing open from the back offering maximum playability.

There are quite a few stickers to apply, but they are all on flat tiles and aren’t too difficult. Emma’s Art Stand will offer great enjoyment to all fans of Friends as well as a pleasing variety of parts for fellow AFOLs. With 18 new and re-coloured elements including “I love Heartlake City” printed mug, helmet with ponytail, printed map, pen, flowers and leaf element, this one is certainly a good buy.
